Dear Sisters and Brothers

Mask are not legally required in church now, but, we are asked to consider continuing to wear them whilst indoors. Remember that wearing a mask isn’t about protecting yourself, its caring for others. We should also continue to sanitise hands on entering and leaving our churches. Let’s take things steadily as we return to ‘normality.’  (I know of more people who have Covid now than I have done at any other time in this pandemic, it’s not over yet).

As I move on in mid-February, this bulletin will cease as of 6 February. Services will continue to be published in the Benefice magazine and on our web sites.

The funeral of Mrs Cheryl McDonald will take place at St. Helen’s Denton on Thursday 3rd February at 11am. The Funeral of Mr Brian Knox will take place at St. Michael and St. Lawrence’s Church Fewston on Thursday 10th February at 12 noon.

Our friends and neighbours and all who live in this Benefice. For all those coming towards the end of their lives and those coming to terms with difficult diagnoses. The sick, and the dying, and those who care for them. For the families and friends of Cheryl McDonald and Brian Knox and for all those who mourn the loss of someone they love.

God bless you all.
